Wow, this is a 1971 Corvette Convertible with the mighty LT-1 350 V-8 engine! The LT-1 engine first came to be in 1970 and produced a whopping 370hp with solid lifters for higher RPM's! In 1971 due to government regulation the power was dropped from 370 to 330, still solid lifters and very formidable. The LT-1 Corvette was the "total package", having high reving horse power and very responsive handling due to the lighter engine verses the big block which had more horse power but gave up a lot of weight and handling was not as precise! This one is a correct matching number car from the paint and interior codes to the engine! Steel Cities Gray is a very rare color option with only 1591 being produced in this color. In 1971 only 1949 LT-1's were produced making this a very rare Corvette indeed! Air conditioning was not available with the LT-1, showing it's purpose as a true high performance Corvette and not a luxury cruiser, this car was all business! I also have a highly desireable vinyl covered hard top that was optioned with this Corvette. These Corvettes are true collectables and are getting harder to find every year.
